Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Sport Wizard (“the app”, “the service”), provided by Sport Wizard AB (Org. nr. 559212-3623), contact niclas.berggren@sportwizard.se (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

Sport Wizard is a coaching tool for planning youth-soccer player rotations, playing time, and substitutions. It is provided free of charge for v1.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only as a coaching aid, and you agree not to:

  • Use it to store sensitive medical data or other special-category personal data about players.
  • Enter data about people you have no authority or right to manage.
  • Attempt to access teams, accounts, or data that are not yours.
  • Interfere with, overload, or attempt to circumvent the security of the service.
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for having the appropriate authority to enter data about the players on your team (see the Privacy Policy, Children’s data).

3. No liability for coaching decisions

Sport Wizard is a recommendation and planning engine, not a decision-maker. Suggestions about substitutions, playing time, rotations, and fairness are aids only. The coach is solely responsible for all decisions about who plays, when, and for how long. We are not liable for any outcome — sporting, disciplinary, or otherwise — arising from coaching decisions, whether or not they followed the app’s suggestions.

4. Accounts and termination

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You may delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy, Retention).
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or where required by law. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice.

5. Intellectual property

  • Your data — the player records, match data, and team information you enter belong to you / your team. We claim no ownership of it and process it only to provide the service.
  • The app — the Sport Wizard application, its code, design, and trademarks are owned by Sport Wizard AB. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app; they do not transfer any ownership in it.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that suggestions are optimal for your situation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sport Wizard AB is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Because the app is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes are reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and the current version is always available in the app (Preferences → Legal). For material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, with the District Court of the controller’s registered seat as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
